To protect community members, particularly refugees who are detained in camps and suffering from serious health issues.
To enhance community development by facilitating ongoing and inclusive negotiations, as well as collaborating with other communities on fundamental, emerging, and critical issues.
To provide attention and support to Mon monks, especially those visiting or temporarily residing in Malaysia as refugees or visitors.
To build the individual and organizational capacities of our members by offering information, networking, and learning opportunities relevant to their social, economic, and political change strategies.
To expand the network of organizations and individuals who share MRO's commitment to equal opportunity and social justice, continually reaching a broader audience within our Mon community.
To uplift the morale and knowledge of children and youth, empowering them to meet contemporary challenges.
