Supporting the education program among the Mon adults and children
Taking care of the Mon person’s health by sending them to the clinic and hospitals.
Search for the job vacancies and replace the unemployed members.
Assisting in releasing the arrested and detained members from jails, detention centers, and camps by approaching UNHCR and NGOs.
Upgrade the quality of committee members by educating them to enhance their proficiency and skills, and organize the membership effectively.
Help and protect the Mon from all due necessity.
Built up the organization from a basic level, processing their registered membership cards.
Interact with other communities of the Burmese ethnic group and NGOs in Malaysia for health and relations.
To build goodwill and friendship between community members.
To give attention and care to our community members, especially refugees, who are victims and are being detainedin the detention center/camps, and who seriously suffer health problems.
To advance work on our community development, facilitating ongoing, inclusive negotiation and interrelation with other communities on fundamental, provocative, emerging, and critical issues in our community.
To provide attention and care to our monks who visit Malaysia, whether as refugees or visitors.
To build the individual and organizational capacities of our member by providing information, networking, and learning opportunities that are relevant to their social, economic, and political change strategies.
To broaden the constituency of organizations and individuals who share MRO's commitment to equal opportunity and social justice by undertaking targeted outreach to an ever-widening network of our Mon community.
To uplift the morale and knowledge of children and youths, regardless of age.

Our Vision
To advocate for and provide humanitarian assistance to vulnerable Mon community members, particularly detained refugees with severe health issues; to nurture community well-being through goodwill and friendship; and to empower our members by building individual and organizational capacities necessary for social, economic, and political change.
